You can create documents containing formatted text, tables, and images. In order to create a new document, you can proceed as follows:
Create a document in one of the apps Text or Spreadsheet. You can use a template.
How to create a new document:
To create a new text document without using a template, click on Text app.

in the toolbar in theTo use a template, click on a template in New from Template.
The document is shown on the unnamed page.
Click on
on the upper right side of the document bar. Enter a name for the document.Create and edit the document's content. To edit the document, use the common techniques from the familiar Office applications.

How to create a new document in the Drive app:
Launch the Drive app.
Open a folder in the folder tree.
Note: Open a folder for which you have the appropriate permissions to create objects.
